Apparently Mullins thought the horse was off to Stud until a Horse Box from another Trainer arrived at the yard to collect the horse.

No love lost here between Owner and Ex Trainer.

Seemingly the continuation of a Hurdling career or not was at the heart of the split.

Wouldn't trust Tony with a retired greyhound.

Tony has served the owner well as a jockey and a trainer-if anything he has overachieved with Princess Zoe.To me she isn't a natural hurdler -she could win a mares hurdle over 2.5 miles at Cork or Tipperary but a Galway Hurdle is delusional.

I'd concur with you Cherrykino. G1 winner, 2nd in an Ascot Gold Cup is fine going considering the horse started off rated in the low 60s for Tony. As for hurdling, thought a baffling decision to go that route. But the owner very clearly thinks he knows best.
