Brian Hughes has made a fine start in his quest for a fourth jockeys' championship and success aboard odds-on Idealdes Villerets, was his third winner of the season.

Trainer Donald McCain was fined £290 by the stewards for failing to declare the winner had undergone wind surgery before he was declared.

£290 is an absolute bargain, I would say.

Absolute bargain without doubt a lesser known trainer would be savaged

Charlie Hills also got fined a paltry £290 for the same offence after Jetstream won at Newcastle in Feb. 2018. The horse had finished 11th of 11 on its only previous start, and its SP was 25/1 when it won next time out.

That was over five years ago. They haven't even increased it for inflation.

A bargain when it gets you 25/1 about your winner.

I expect many other trainers will be considering to take full advantage of this "bargain"

Howling beneath his duvet making an appalling accusation over what is probably a secretarial mistake!!! Had it right off did they on an odds on fav that won and did punters a favour rather than getting one over on the public?LaughCrazy
