Have to agree. The Horse didn't even know it had a race.

The horse was ridden to lose . no way was Buick going to make an ounce of effort and it showed too much in a small field.

Connections obviously have another long term target for the horse and this race was used to give the horse some more racecourse experience. All punters can do is notebook these types and play again later down the line.

There will be plenty of point and shoot material for Will….

bstad , totally different ride on Mayfair Gold ! , Don`t you just hate jockeys
![]() They really take the pee out of us punters. |

Not easy, but I try and avoid if possible. With the rides he gets it's not as if he can't afford to mess up on one, two, or even three.
Listening to him talking about Native Trail it was a little concerning that he appeared to be getting in the excuses early suggesting it would be better next time. Even if it was it should be winning tomorrow. |

Buicks a Jonah faced kooont.

Buick quite bullish on Tarrab seemed confident to the job tonight. 6/4 if u believe him

Native Trail is 5/4 at 13:50 Newmarket tomorrow. I think retirement if unable to win. But, I think Hurricane Lane is iffy thouh.

The good thing is coming up next; Light Infantry was 50/1 against Native Trail (5/4) in last year's 2000G.

Good thing?? more hype then substance..... well and truly put in his place.

Native Trail was a quick developer. However, the majority of his adversaries have caught up and surpassed him now. One to ignored for the benefit of one health and pocket.

Was very fortunate to have held on for 2nd on Native after appearing to ease up near the line

Wins the first on an outsider, stinks the place out on Native Trail, and bolts up on the horse nobody wanted, Hurricane Lane. A typical Buick day. Native Trail was pathetic, no other word for it. Looks as if he has gone from Group 1 to Listed.

Really is a c....t of a jockey where us punters are concerned. You have no chance unless you know when this crook is bothering to apply himself!

Off with his head

And he wins a big handicap today. Guineas next? Hope that Frankie has learned how to ride the course to win on Chaldean.

Jinxy, totally agree mate, absolutely useless rodent in the sasddle. Applebey should be looking for a far better jock for all these good horse, and Aiden O,Brien also needs better back up jockeys at coolmore other than Heffernan and Lordan who are well past their sell by dates.
