El Habeeb improved hand over fist last season and it wouldn't surprise me if there was more to come. His 1st run this season, behind Broome, will have surely brought him on and with his trainer in form, 9/1 looks too big to me. He's proven on the ground staying on well in the Leger and this 2 miles at Ascot looks tailor made.

Already 19 years ago since Persian punch collapsed in front of the stands on a cold spring afternoon.

I'm very tempted to 'lay' Trueshan. His previous race had the hallmark of a 'Stradivarius' performance against Spanish Mission eg 1st indicator of a decline in ability; oddson is too tempting to ignore.

I would agree impossible, around evens for any of the other 5 is good value imo

Don't think he's ever value to back now unless it's nearly unraceable. And on better ground he will almost certainly go bigger IR anyway.

Spot on Howard, the ground will probably be good by 3.15, which will certainly be against Trueshan. Hopefully King wont pull him out.

Looks like being a sunny day at Ascot, Trueshan on the drift!

Lord not this again…king basically ruined every race last season with until the race before to declare Trueshan a nr.

Trueshan's gone odds on almost across the board. I reckon the parasites are shortening it up to make sure there's a large rule 4 if they pull it out.

I've bitten the bullet and 'lay' Trueshan for a pittance for vindication. Hope he wins...to retain crown in Oct.

Oh well, it's a shame Trueshan ran such a flat race; once headed capitulated. Jumping next?

Trueshan was 1.37 for 2-places, nearly 3x better than 1.99

I'm a bit annoyed that Atzeni read the race so badly, I had a saver on the place and he really should have been 2nd. C'est la vie!
