All the pro's will be there, betting in readies to avoid the affordability checks, that's the way forward from now on.
There have been reports of an increase in betting with cash on course a result, evidence endorsed by Glyn Jones, who will be at Newmarket this weekend and was at Windsor on Monday. He said: "These checks will probably help us because anyone who wants to have a bet might have to come on-course now. I think there's been a few more big punters about in the last few months, compared to previously. That could be by chance, but there's as much chance it's because of affordability checks." https://www.racingpost.com/news/gambling-review/its-madness-on-course-bookmakers-respond-to-governments-white-paper-proposals-aqP1N0Q5SBBI/ |

It'll be like the old days again, remember when Big Mac used to refer to the "faces" in the betting ring, and he didn't mean Ronnie Wood and his pals, he meant the shrewdies turning up to have a wad on a shortie.

1.12 on here..i woodnt like to be laying 1.12.
|
|
By:
worth a cheap lay, it's a horse, it's got a pen, Noble Captain looked a big pulling baby on 2nd run, gone to a decent yard, prob 3rd run job but could be a small danger.

By:
noble beaten 7L by a horse rated low 70's..convey looks a 85+.

Was about to ask, I can't for the life of me see why.
Lets face it going wrong/lame = 100/1. How are 1.12 layers trying to get this beat??? |

The only angle I can add is that its Newc AW, its absolutely rank and could down anything, clutching at straws mind you.
|
|
By:
it looks a 85+ horse imo..givings 7lbs away but i cant see any of the others being rated anywhere near 77..newc can stop trains at times but Covey was impressive at Newm and has form on aw..point and shoot innit.

aye looks very decent..so did gosdens in 7:00..

This horse clearly has a target for Royal Ascot. The Gosedens would be not sending it upto Newcastle for an egg and spoon race midweek at 1/16 , unless this was about getting some more vital experience into him before Royal Ascot, he is clearly thought of very highly. As soon as his Royal Ascot target is revealed, I suggest you invest.
