I have really enjoyed Punchestown, Some sensational racing, just as good as Chelts.

One can only watch and admire the great man's achievements.

His horses can only beat what has the balls to turn up.

Agree with the above, superb racing at all 3 Irish festivals in 2023.

Elliott well over 40 losers before winning the charity race, and De Bromhead rarely sighted. There is a huge gulf. Credit to Townend as well, particularly as several of the winners were clearly not at their best.

Did any other trainer have a horse with a chance in any of the grade 1's?

Martin Brassil and Emmet Mullins.

Yes I know who won differentdrum but most of the races at grade 1 level no trainer either had a chance or in many cases an actual runner, very uncompetitive and boring

Harry, bit confused you implied that no other trainer had a chance in 'any' Grade 1 yet you knew they had won two of them?

Each to their own, I don't like backing shorties, but I do enjoy watching very good horses run. This is the end of the season and there are a limited number of very good horses to run at the best of times. Mullins sent out the vast majority of his better ones and credit to him for doing that.
