I've just had a sneaky peek to see if acey had napped Galopin Des Champs and this was in fact a sour grapes fred, but no, acey isn't napping anything, evidently resting on his laurels after reaching the summit and becoming the toppermost of the tippermost last year.

I agree irish. I have had one bet and that was a winning place on an over-priced animal in the Grade 1 six-runner Chase, about whom I got inspiration, who hadn't gone to Cheltenham. Watching is the overview for me.
I see Lucinda has sent one there today reversing the trend of the Irish going to Perth! Douglas Talking 4.15 and good luck to her and it. What enterprise. No mileage is too much for her nowadays and how it has paid off. |

What is the purpose of this meeting? It's so uncompetitive, and over 5 days too. Personally, I cannot see the logic of it poat Cheltenham and Aintree. I can appreciate and understand the Dublin Racing Festival as it's considered a good prep for Cheltenham. But, this?

One of the purposes of this meeting impossible is it’s a great social event for locals and those who travel,whilst I agree there’s a lot of crap races but we have seen all the best national hunt horses bar constitution hill and marine nationals
On display were the winners f the arkle ,gold cup,champion chase,ballymore,stayers hurdle ,champion bumper,Ryanair,mares chase,and if all goes well the triumph hurdle I would say there’s a lot of point in this fixture, Don’t worry the usual poor stuff will return |

Mr Mullins ran amok with winners at Cheltenham. What did the locals think would happen? Of course Mr Mullins would do the same here given the no-show of British horses except Bravemansgame. Would Bravemansgame have shown up if he was not forced to forego Aintree? I'd think not.
I hope all who participated had a jolly good time and financially rewarding esp Mr Mullins who gathered valuable info for future races in the process. However, I know when enough is enough; |
