A leaf out of the Hong Kong or Australian punishment bridge would scare them a bit…..don’t count tho as we fodder don’t really mean a lot to the establishment…

This sort of thing just provides a smokescreen. It is at the extreme end of the bad ride scale, but at the end of the day it is one race when there are bad rides every day, and most will recent no sanction/publicity whatsoever. Throwing the book at one jock won't stop the general malaise that blights the sport.

Won't ever happen, but jockeys should be fined (with bans for persistent offenders) every time they drop their hands before the line, no matter the horse's position.
