Can`t wait to hear Sparrow defending that ! , maybe he will say the horse didn`t stay !

Jockeys need to be made to have insurance for that , or the establishment need to pay out losing punters . It is so much worst than cheating!
What a complete idiot , there could never be an excuse for that ride , i hope the jockey was drug tested after the race ! |

3 MONTHS pour encourage les autre.

Disgraceful - why would you do it?! How long do you have to be a jockey to avoid something like that. Completely inexplicable.
By:
Just seen the replay. Looks like he pulls it up right before the line.
By:
Just watched the recording. Oh dear, dreadful error, only checked the one wing mirror.
No explanation for it other than he thought he had won. Hard luck if you backed it. |
By:
Exactly, Darlo, he didn't lose because he took it easy, he lost because he started pulling the horse up before the line.
Here's the thing, a jockey mistakes the half-furlong pole for the finish line, or rides a finish a circuit too early, human error, brain freeze, these things happen. But the jock who starts easing up, knows there is a risk involved in doing that, which is why he / she will look around and keep looking around, just as Cosgrave did. The above examples would have my sympathy, Cosgrave does not. |
By:
That made me laugh, I've had a long shltty day at work. Always somebody has a worse one.
By:
Why pull the horse up was cruising no issues , why would any Jock do that ? Very strange , Was no need to pull the horse up, A crazy thing to do Before the Line never Mind even shortly after it , How often would you see a Jock pull a horse up straight after the Line ? There could be Horses Finishing strongly for a Place ,ALL OF A SUDDEN BRAKES ON IN FRONT , no room BANG .

I don't think 28 days is long enough . There have been about 8 of these since 1990 , this was the worst of all , on the shortest price of them all .
