The 500s+ shot was traded at 2s 50 lengths back behind the winner
but even more so the horse that fell down the back straight, Longstone Cowboy, smashed into 4s+ for a very large chunk, despite running loose and the jockey on the ground

Just watched it a couple more times - Gregory definitely at fault. Endangered not only his own life but that of a fellow jockey and two horses...should (but probably won't) get a hefty ban and a big fine.

He didn't 'jink left', Gregory directed the poor horse towards the wing so it tried to duck out! Stewards bottle it as always. Still, race over, we move on.

Race 1 - 2:10pm THE BEST ODDS GUARANTEED DAILY AT VICKERS.BET 'NATIONAL HUNT' NOVICES' HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) (GBB RACE) An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final hurdle involving RAMBO T (IRE), which unseated its rider at the final hurdle, ridden by Fergus Gregory, and BLUE FIN (IRE), which was subsequently carried out, ridden by Sean Quinlan. The interference was found to be accidental and caused by RAMBO T (IRE) jinking sharply left-handed approaching the wing of the hurdle, bumping and badly hampering BLUE FIN (IRE) and causing that gelding to be pushed through the wing, resulting in Quinlan being unseated. As such, the Stewards deemed there was no riding offence involved.

it only jinked when it sensed the other leaning on it..but rambo had been nearest the hurdle from the top of the hill so jock on other should have came stand side imo.

If that's how they choose to interpret the rules Gregory is a lucky lucky boy, cause Quinlan was already going through the wing even if Rambo T hadn't jinked. Its not easy and maybe he would have run out anyway but you have two make sufficient effort to try and stop that happening. The stewards interpretation of this ensures it will keep happening until someone is killed one day. Utter madness!!

there should be a rail in place. no rail is the cause of the incident. Because it wasn't there, it's difficult to tell from our angle if rambo moved from a line that would take it from nearer to the middle of the hurdle to one that took it to the far corner. It could be that the far side horse was "off the course" but had there been a rail there, that wouldn't have happened and it would have been clear if rambo was taking its ground.

That puts a different perspective on it. There was no room for the challenger to come up the inside at the hurdle unless the leader moved over.

Rambo didn't hold his line...even the stewards said he 'jinked' left. I would still say Gregory intentionally took him left. Had he kept him straight he would had hurdled the last a couple of sections nearer the middle, not right at the edge of the wing.

That doesn't seem to be the case to me. rambo took the second last flight at the edge of the hurdle and if you look at https://www.attheraces.com/atrplayer-popout/VOD/1347613?showResult=yes , when the last hurdle comes into view, about 4.50 on the vid, it is clear that blue fin is way outside the line of the hurdle course and that is nothing to do with rambo or his rider. rambo might even have tried to run out.
