Leicester going stick reading

Nearly every flat turf meeting so far has had its worst ground in years. Has it really rained that much recently

Musselburgh only one that has had decent ground.

The last time the number was that low was October 2019 and look what happened:

Indeed china, the water tables must be on the high side, been some ridiculously slow times.

Cheers for that Anorak, and it looks like they may get some more rain tomorrow, though the forecast suggests the heaviest of it will be to the south of them. I've looked on the BHA updates page and the course's twitter account but no inspection called yet.

'Just' the 35 seconds outside standard for the opener, with the two from the Gosden and Balding yards finishing legless behind the 50 length winner, and 40 lengths between the other two.

In Leicester today and tomorrow and it has been raining all afternoon/evening non-stop.

it does seem that we've experienced the wettest march and April I can remember, it seems 2 days of sunshine is meet by 3 days of non stop rain

saying that, it will be dry and dead ground by mid-may and everywhere kicking up dust

also why dont they state the going stick on the race result on Racingpost?
