Jumped right at every single fence at Chepstow. Bechers and Canal Turn could be interesting. No jockey has won the 2 hunters at Cheltenham/Aintree on different horses since the war.
Flemenstar, he hasn't been missed due to last Time where it was the bet of the century at an opening price of 7/2, backed to 8/11....only for the meeting to be abandoned.

Am I the only one who dislikes the use of "brown bread" as slang for dead on here? As many on here know, I am not a bunny hugger but imo it lacks both wit and respect.
That Race did not look pretty to me....Maybe its an age think but that did not look comfortable viewing...I am not a snowflake either.
Fences look quite forgiving though. Perhaps it's more a case of average hunter chasers going quicker than they normally would.

The Grand National has always been my favourite Race but the older i get the less comfortable i feel about it...Just sayin.
No the race it used to be acey. Nowadays plenty of horses hare round like greyhounds brushing the spruce out of the way. Bechers a shadow of the fence it used to be and the chair falls apart due to the poor jumping. The days of concentrating on outstanding jumpers long gone, just a glorified handicap nowadays.

agree with stormy here .years ago i used to look forward to when the weights came out to find some early ante post bets .now its just a few very small stakes "novelty bets" ,what with all the modifications to the course its lost its pazzaz for me and wont get it back despite all the biggin up by itv and the media.
