As we wake to the possibility of further restrictions to our way of life I wanted to share my recent experience. I am lucky in terms of the stats. as I am an active woman in her 30s who plays a lot of sport and has no problematic health conditions. In fact, I`ve barely even had a cold and had never been to hospital other than to give birth before this year.

CV-19 changed all that. I contracted it and it was hell. I won`t go into the grim details but I was in hospital for 8 days and lost two stones very quickly. I didn`t think I`d make it. Thanks to the extraordinary NHS, however, I am still here and on the mend.

I must have seen 30-40 nurses/specialists/doctors recently, every single one of whom was passionate about social distancing and mask-wearing. Their observations regarding the non-believers and conspiracy mongers ranged from ridicule and derision to outright contempt and anger.

These professional people know what they are talking about and risk their lives for us every day as opposed to the armchair amateurs who have suddenly become experts on matters of health care. Please listen to those who deal with the situation first-hand every hour of every day and respect their opinions. Wear your mask and support your fellow men and women.

Not quite as funny as seeing this sorry cohort of 3 or 4 embarrassing themselves again though. The days when we count profit in thousands and not hundreds really are a delight.

Fair play to fraudy, some numpties in the net until George put his spoke in.

It was suspect with LaraLabia appearing on a horseracing forum spouting shoite about the Rona for starters.
The headbanger appears to be convinced he will con the forum into believing him despite him never managing to hide his real identity. He did take some numpties in and Sparrow went on  a complete meltdown when he realised he'd been had by Fraudy. Fraudy is a very disturbed individual. Needs help IMO

George does not approve of my opinions. Therefore, in his mind, I am automatically a liar and the personal experience that I have shared is fake news. He is completely happy to say these things without a semblance of any evidence. I know that he is lying but he cannot maintain his position without doing so.

Extraordinarily, and publicly, he is then prepared to state that I am not female and I have not been ill. And this is precisely the sort of warped, Trumpesque thought process that leads a person to conclude that we should not wear masks.

The vast majority of people do not think like that, of course, but it is useful to read such a blatant example of the extremes that these people will go to in their attempts to claim that black is white.
