James Du Berlais was a bit too keen in the Turners and could improve on that run but he will need to settle and jump better, which makes me think there could be an upset and at the prices it could be worth siding with Flame Bearer, who missed Cheltenham but is unbeaten at this track.
Flame Bearer was second to State Man over near enough this trip in a Grade 1 at the Punchestown festival last year, so he's always had plenty of class and after a really disappointing run at Navan, he bounced back when allowed to stride along here last time. Of course that was a still a long way behind the level that Mighty Potter and Appreciate It have shown over fences but Flame Bearer might be ready to put in a career-best effort, while you certainly can't guarantee that about all those in front of him in the market.
