9.40 Nancy - I had a couple of quid on SERENADE as those with a run were modest at best.

2000m flat, out the stalls and went to the front for 2f 2 lengths clear. Then made a real effort to jump a large road crossing before the ben and I have no idea how MICHAL ABIK stayed in the plate.
Drops back to 3rd and Abik leaves her alone to come back to herself without pressure. Filly is 110% genuine and when asked for an effort coming into the straight gets to the front and stays on well to win at 7/1. Just to put the cherry on it she tries to jump the road crossing again as it is 50m past the winning post. Still doesn't unship Abik.
Great ride. The race is a claimer and she was in for 10,000 euros. Interesting to see if she is sold or bought in but surely can win again in better class.
