Over the 5F it seems a high draw is normally an
advantage.

The draw statistic sites still reckon high numbers............


Conclusions

The conclusion here is that high has a big advantage on the stats, which is very surprising as 5 furlongs at Bath is run round a left handed dog leg, so you would expect the inside low drawn runners to be favoured but nothing could be further from the truth. Soft ground doesn't appear to affect the draw either.

forget your stats high numbers were dead in sprints today

Most of the "high" wins come from small fields, 8 or less . In bigger fields you def want low.

Wish I'd looked at that before today's racing.
