Have done my dough a couple of times over the past couple of seasons with him, but can't resist another shot today after a better showing at Kelso 12 days ago.
The 9yr old hardly helps himself with his headstrong tendencies, and that was on show at Kelso last time when he pulled himself to the front after a couple of fences. However, he seemed happier with himself once in front, and his jumping seemed more assured, before getting tired up the Kelso straight after a 3mth break and fading into a well beaten 3rd.
His mark has dropped from the mid 130's 18mths ago, to an all time low of 117 here today. He's contesting a 0-115, and if he can't put up a real good show today I'll be very disappointed.
