The universities in Pakistan are cancelling the end of Ramadan celebrations and celebrating St George's day instead.
They must all be pi$$ing themselves how stupid we are over here.
What happens with Ramadan if you live in the Artic with 24 hours of sunlight? Technically you have to starve to death.

They will run out of "Mea Culpa" topics the rate they are going on.
I tend to laugh at their antics rather than worry, let them get on with the nonsense.

Even a premier League match was paused at the appropriate time for the end of fasting for Ramadan. I'm sure that Christian sensibilities are observed in every country in the world.

meanwhile in saudi, if you have a pint to celebrate paddy's day they chop off your testicles and fry them in a metal-made cooking utensil called a tava.

It's all so when there is little work and next to no money everyone is divided and does what they are told. But the MP's and others on the front line they just obey orders and take the money.

This sounds like an April Fools joke that has been taken seriously by the media and just taken off. I find it hard to believe that people would really do something so stupid. I know I don't know many people, but every one that I do know doesn't buy into any of this woke stuff.

As I said previously this was just either an April Fool's joke or fake news: I have looked at the Magdalen College website and there is no mention of this banquet nor a "St Georges Day" banquet. Also: Magdalen’s records show no tradition of an annual feast of St George – among revolving experiments with various themed dinners, it has held a dinner for St George’s Day only five times in the past 100 years.
The most recent was 2018. Eid, of course, follows a lunar calendar, which means that this year it happens to fall on 21 April. The Oxford term does not begin until 23 April, which makes that the first day on which the college’s Muslim students can come together as a community to mark the end of their fast. The idea of a St George’s Day dinner, which this Eid has supposedly displaced, was never in the diary.
