Do not get the Racing Post - too dear - so would it be possible for a kind person who does to name the horse in Roger Varian's stable tour said by his yard staff to be a 'bit special'.  Thanks for your trouble.

The vibe from the lads in the yard has always been that he's a bit special – and he does look the real deal. Ben Morris deserves a lot of credit for the work he has done with him at home. He's wintered well and could go for the Greenham before a shot at the 2,000 Guineas but, if for any reason we get diverted off that course, he could go straight to Newmarket. He looked quick in the Mill Reef, has a fantastic action and is powerful in his work. His pedigree says he should definitely get the mile and we have to ask him the question.

Not a stable I can work out at all...he can't be that sharp if he's got a horse in the stable with neck fractures and doesn't even know it...only discovered when the horse(Eydon)was moved to Andrew Balding

Don't rate the jocks he uses, or has used. Not much value for punters as his horses are invariably put in short, particularly in handicaps. I know he got a very poor St Leger on the board, but with that much raw material, he should be doing better.

Often wonder if these "stable tours" are all ghost written.

Why, if you have a "dark one" in the yard, would you want to advertise it in a national newspaper?
