Inside the final half furlong the winner, STREAK LIGHTNING (IRE), shifted marginally right-handed moving PAPA COCKTAIL (IRE), unplaced, off its intended line, which in turn moved DANIELSFLYER (IRE), unplaced, off its intended line causing it to make contact with ANIF (IRE), placed fifth. After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of STREAK LIGHTNING (IRE).
Following the race, Gianluca Sanna reported that VIVA VOCE (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final half furlong. |
