Do forgive me for asking, but I noticed on the Johnny Lights interview thread that you had told a story about the West Country circuit. I recall a wonderful thread on here many years ago in which there were some wonderful tales and memories of that. I cannot find it but would love to re-read it. You may have contributed. I would ask for long odds it would be the storey when John was nabbed by the old bill when he was speeding to Newton Abbot in his bmw to back a short one.
Will always remember John when i first started going racing over 45 years ago standing on the old wooden boxes shouting i will take take 5/1 with one to jump.
