Here's a idea: If a horse is going to be wearing a blindfold until the stalls open, it should be declared as such and shown

on the race Programme. It really annoys me to see runners missing the break while the jockey fumbles with the blindfold.

Horses could still be loaded with the aid of a blindfold without declaring so before hand as long as they are removed well

before the starter hits the button.

How would such a Declaration on the Racecard help Punters, though ? ....

Unless you Are intimating that - You would Never, ever, Back a Horse Declared to be Blindfolded ?

Punters could take that into account. If ,like me , you attach a great deal of importance to a

good start it might influence my decision making.

As for your 2nd paragraph,how does that invalidate my original idea?
