What an advert for a trainer who has just managed 5 winners this season, that after a terrible previous season.
Decent pedigree, relatively expensive purchase, and she sends it out to do that. No wonder it was so weak in market. Jock got it into the worst possible track position stuck out wide. It had no place on a racecourse.
Her late father didn't train that many winners, but he would not have sent out a bumper runner who was that clueless. It looks like she is playing with game.

Agree - especially with decent pedigree quote.
Her Dad really could train ... and - when he had a good one, or a 'goer', they could be backed with confidence. You cannot fail to remember the likes of - Dato Star - Cape Tribulation, and latterly Waiting Patiently. He didn't have that many runners, but Malcom was one of the best northern trainers. With the right ammunition he was capable of competing at the Festivals. His bumper runners were invariably ready to do themselves justice on racecourse debut. He did the training at home, not on the racecourse.

Horse runs again today, just eight days on. Very strange. Can you really turn a horse who looked clueless into a racehorse in that time. Looks a much stronger race today, but some market support 40/1-25/1.
