Paul had suffered 2 heart attacks previously.And apparently had not been well for some time.

I warmed to Paul O'Grady over the years. A very popular person and will get a proper send off.

His autobiographies are well worth reading.

I think he used to take it up the 'arris, never a good choice for a long and healthy life!

Lilly Savage drag act was brilliant at the time.

Think he was a heavy smoker.

Sad loss.

ehhh..i always thort he looked way younger...

Couldnt stand the man.

But then I neither listened to R2 nor watched blankety blank.

The guy summed up entirely what I disliked about him when he referred to himself as being the epitome of 'Woke'.

you correct jimnast found it not much of a response still I suppose he was at his peak 1970's or earlier. Still plenty on here go back that far but unless you were part of the racecourse scene we didn't know much without the internet.

When the Perth festival was at its peak in the 80s he use to stay at the gleneagles always very polite and I found him very discreet about his betting.

By all accounts was a nice fella from "Over The Water" but he had lost all sense of reality though, I heard him say when being interviewed recently " How can a family of four on benefits survive on 20,000 a year. There are plenty of families living on that much with one of them working 40 hrs a week, teaching assistants in schools are on about 14,000 a year. Universal credits top up their income but it's not easy.
