I am hoping for the winner to get a cash prize which I will pay half and Betfair the other half. I await their reply.
If I get their go ahead it will be ten questions with the winner take all. There will be five questions on sport and five questions on general knowledge.
There will be no trick questions but one question per quiz will contain three possibilities. ie, who was the first man to climb Everest?
That sounds simple but there are three possibilities to that one.
Anybody interested feel free to sign in.
If I don't get BF's back up up it will be fun only but I'm sure I can get a prize to the winner every fortnight.

My thinking is it might take back the good old days of chit-chat. Many will remember and bring back some good memories.....and hopefully some long lost forumites.

The history books show Hilary was the first man recorded to have stood atop the summit.
You can't turn around and say there are two dead men up there somewhere who may have done it first

Malory was first imo. He took a photo of his wife and said he would leave it on the summit if he reached it. When his body was eventually found in 1999 all his clothing was searched. There was no photo of his wife on his possession.
That's not how quizzes work though.
Even if it's multiple choice there will almost certainly be just the one universally recognised, correct, answer.
