Disgraceful ride, hunted it round the back and cruised into 2nd without ever putting it in the race.

Looked like hard work stopping it from winning.

Obvious non-trier and no action from the stewards who surely must be in on it.

Didn't understand all the plaudits regarding the ride on Marine Nationale.

It was so much the best horse in the race all he had to do was keep it out of trouble.

Having kept an eye on BY YOUR SIDE since his Ed Dunlop days and backed for the Fred Winter last week(money back NR)I felt the early evening price(6/1)was too good......seems it was...will they dare rock up at Aintree or Punchestown now after that..

How are they getting away with this? BYS was cantering at the rear cruised into 2nd was never put in the race. Surely that's a non-trier.

Towards rear, headway into 6th 3 out, soon pushed along, ridden and went 4th at last, improved into 2nd inside final furlong, kept on well close home but not reach winner op 10/3

Coming off 2 falls I'd say the lad was told to get the animal round safely,we know that shouldn't happen but it does and all over the place,just look at any big field Maiden Hurdle where about 6 out of 25 are trying and the rest at the back the whole way around.

It's just more obvious in small fields.

Non-triers are commonplace, multiple times every single day. We need to fight back, call them out, sue them, highlight the issue, create a pressure groups.

Those responsible for policing the sport aren't doing their job, so the punters need to do it instead.

Ruby is not a million miles away from calling it out and I've heard him criticise a good few rides without accusing skulduggery yet as the motive for the poor ride but I think if jockeys rebuke him for having an opinion he's only going to go harder on them in future.

Lads I was there yesterday and thought he gave the horse a good ride , horse needs to be held up, smuggled it into the race nicely and allowed it to find its feet sadly the winner was much to good , he will ride it exactly the same next time of that I'm sure and hopefully win ..

Workrider he rode it way too confident & gave it far too much to do .His success of last week probably clouded his judgement. Obviously pace judgement will come with experience. A ride Jamie Spencer would have been proud of.

actually, i can do a lot better. ive been to loads of em. ampstead eaf is still the best but the grass arena in edinburgh was an eye-opener for me. kilts are a great help obviously. you cant wear em in london without arousing suspicion
