It fits a key trend for the race - 10 of the last 15 winners ran in the Cleeve Hurdle on their last start before the Festival. His last run was a massive improvement on anything he'd done over hurdles in France, where he's been more successful over fences. The French handicapper raised him 12 kgs for the win at Cheltenham.

He's short enough now though? The Cleeve stat is strong (partly thanks to Big Buck's of course), and he won it pretty easily, but the form of the Cleeve itself may not be great, depending on one's view of how Paisley Park ran.

I hope the horse is in the shake up though, because the jockey's style reminds me of Luke Harvey when things get going

It's an EW play. Has a slight chance of winning ( don't like the form too much but he won well )  but the fav's a good thing imo

It's a fascinating race, and very trappy. The fav did look good lto (I was very taken with his hurdling), but, again, he didn't beat much. I've got it down to a shortlist of the top 7 in the betting

Only 2 English trained runners, both any price you like!

Poor show

The guy who does the french racing on ssr fancies the other one of the 2 french runners 100/1 poke, make of that what you will, chucked couple of quid on w/p.

The gamble on Princess Zoe looks bigger and more importantly I'm on at 16-22!

It's nice to see the two French runners - hope they run well and encourage others to come over.
