From the BHA Stewards' Reports:    The apparent improvement in form of the winner, LANGER DAN (IRE) compared with its previous run at Cheltenham on 1 January 2023, where the gelding finished eighth of nine runners beaten by 34 ¾ lengths, was considered. The representative of Dan Skelton explained that the gelding was suited by a return to Cheltenham where the gelding has run well previously, was noted; his explanation was noted and LANGER DAN (IRE) was routine tested.   I think the representative needs to have rehearsed a more coherent explanation.  Of course, " We laid it out for this race." is never the explanation.

Where's the logic in holding a Steward's in the first place?

"Timeform top-rated horse wins 26-runner handicap, having been in the top 5 in the betting" doesn't exactly scream "rancid" does it?

The winner of the 3-30 seemed to perform a 'little' better than it's previous run........
