Don't know whether ITV heard that but if so shows what ratings amount to.  Performances not telling you which is the best horse/s. Official ratings had him just 6lb more than State Man. That WILL change.

Was/is the 177p not what Constitution Hill was with Timeform BEFORE Today?

I know it says 177p on their website - But does anybody know if that is/as it was earlier.

Very doubtful that Timeform will have issued a NEW rating so quickly - as they will/would normally analyse the Sectional Times, Wind direction etc, too - before coming to a conclusion.

Thought Ed Chamberlain may well have been asking Mick Fitz a Rhetorical question when he said ....

"Constitution Hill is rated 177p with Timeform - 5lbs below Night Nurse"  - "what do you think - Will he become a Dawn Run?"

You will be able to listen again - at around 5:28pm ... on ITV +1 ....

- and make your own mind up.  Happy

- although, admittedly, viewers may well have thought Ed meant - RE-rated.

In the Persian War/Night Nurse/Monksfield/Sea Pigeon era he would have carried 12-0 in the Schweppes last month, and we would have found out just how good he really is.

As it is, there were two Champion Hurdlers at Cheltenham today, and he didn't even have to race against them, never mind give them 7 lb and boost his rating.

I hate the Mares' Hurdle, and the whole four-day Cheltenham thing.
