On the eve of the national hunt festival royal ascot have asked racegoers to wear 2 nd hand clothes at this years royal meeting.

Yes that would count onlooker ,there even suggesting ladies borrow hats from there parents or grand parents .

It will be Ascot's woke attempt at acknowledging the 'Cost of Living Crisis' - will will not be affecting the Ascot planners one iota.
