Is it worth studying tomorrows card before this afternoons inspection or is it very likely to be called off and not worth the time and effort?

I'm quite near but 1000 ft + higher. They wouldn't be racing here that's for sure.

Still +4 in Whitehaven @ 18:45, 40 miles from Carlisle. Forecast for Carlisle appears to be -2 now rather than the earlier forecast -4 so must be a chance it could be on - will see with 9am inspection. If it is on please note that at last Carlisle meeting PP paid over £12k with many unplaced Favs. Carlisle is a good course for stats and one I always follow is dont back the Fav in the first race - it very rarely wins. Local trainers do well including Nicky Richards in Spring & Autumn but not in winter meetings. Southern trainers who bring their horses over 200 miles also tend to do well but dont take short prices on them.
