Questionable ride in my opinion. Would hesitate to back one of his in the near future.

Just rather amateur. He was travelling well but never saw daylight at the important phase of the race.

Thanks for putting me right sage but I didn't see it that way at all. He fought with the horse for fully two and a half miles and kept it out the back, and unsurprisingly the horse had nothing to give at the business end. He did not ride the horse that way in its previous race.

Happy to accept that. Just looked to be galloping all over them along the back straight but never got a run until the first two had got away and then as you say he ran out of petrol.
