What’s the point of a Dangerous Dog Act when so many are on the streets. It’s mainly chavs, wannabe gangsters and low end dealers who want them. Euthanise the owners at the same time!!

Ive got a friend with an XL bully. Its basically a larger version of a pitbull. The fcking thing runs riot. I love it but it aint a family pet. It will eat someone soon enough

100% this. And when the dog is put down by old bill they just get another. I dont think ive ever seen anyone cop serious bird for they dog attacking someone...

A lad at work mentioned an XL Bully a few months ago. I’d never heard of them. They look ferocious but are supposedly friendly.

I’ve had a couple of dobermans in the past and they were lovely dogs. Got a shih tzu cross now and he’s my favourite out of them all. I do worry though when we are out walking and I see a nasty looking dog approaching. The first thing I do is think where I could throw him if anything happened! It wouldn’t take much to cause him some serious harm.

I have an arsey little patterdale terrior and a rotty. They hooligans but always on leads. Its other peoples dogs off lead running up that cause issues. Ive always had rescue dogs so you have to live with their foibles

I’ve always liked Rotties. Lovely dogs. Not so keen on Patterdales. The few I’ve encountered seem to be nasty little feckers!

They chose me tbf. I didnt get a say in the matter

Patterdales are feisty rather than nasty tbf. They have small man syndrome

The govt more or less told people to have their pets put down when war broke out in 1939, and apparently 750,000 were killed in just one week.

Not just because of the threat of bombings, but largely because food was going to be rationed and there wasn't any for family pets.

Could it happen again if the Ukraine war escalates further into Europe?
