Also played a memorable part in an episode of The Persuaders titled ‘ Five Miles To Midnight’ first broadcast in January 1971. She later reminisced over the making of it and how Curtis and Moore nearly came to blows on several occasions, most of the incidents not surprisingly instigated by the short fused Curtis.

Sparrow mentions harry fowler in his cast list who was a regular in the billy hills shop off the kings rd near flood st in Chelsea that I used to frequent in the 90s.he used to tell a few stories I remember him saying that Joan was a very difficult act to work with.that shop was a magnet for well known faces,I remember one lunchtime all in at the same time were George best,Peter O’Sullivan & Brian turner the tv chef as well as harry.

By:
Wasn't Harry Fowler in "The Army Game" TV series?
|
By:
He was in shed loads of films in the 50s & 60s & yes the army game on the small screen
|
By:
Thanks barrowboy, he was one of those actors who was never out of work.
|
By:
Tbh sparrow he was in the twilight of his career when I used to see him & quite bitter that the work had dried up,I got the impression that he hadn’t made a fortune despite the large body of work he d done.or maybe he’d made a fortune & given it to Billy’s!

Joan Collins played Edith Keeler, a WW2 era pacifist in the Star Trek Original Series 'The City On The Edge Of Forever'. 28th epsisode of the first series. Widely regarded by many as the best in the vast cannon of Star Trek shows and iterations.
Tho speaking as a fan I would say that the Voyager episode 'Timeless' directed by Levar Burton is my particular favourite. |
