Stood in a queue at supermarket earlier today: lady in front of me bought 5 packs of cigarettes (20s) and 4 tickets for Euromillons tomorrow - absolutely no questions asked as to whether or not she could afford to buy what is commonly accepted as a potential killer nor queried about her £10.00 gamble.
