Alyas Gold Award wouldn't be anyones fancy in this classified stakes at about 75/80 on here, but in this donkey derby may well outrun her odds.
Most of these are much of a muchness always running in the basement level, this filly as a 4yo is much less exposed than most of these only having had 11 runs. Ran for Hughes as a 2yo and last run for him rated 62 was her best only btn just over a length.
Her latest run at wolverhampton in a 0-60 h'cap looked a better race than this and she produced her best run to date, 4th surrounded by horses rated between 55-60 running on over 5fs only btn just over 2 lengths. Breeding probably doesn't really matter at this level but is by Starspangled Banner out of a G3/listed mare, damsire Tamayuz. Also the jockey who rode lto claims a valuable 5lbs, all depends on how she takes to Southwell i suppose, probably won't get thje Gold Award but hopeful may get Silver or Bronze.

Was down at the yard on Sunday, Katie was just saying it's getting harder and harder to get Jason. Great to see him still supporting the yard. |

He was on the retiral list a few months back but suddenly got his mojo back and has been a weebit unlucky not to get his head in front earlier.
I'm hoping her mothers horse runs as well tonight. |

She'll be well pleased with that double, couldn't get logged on in time to have a dabble, hope you did, looked the likely EW bet in the race.
What did you make of that Fanshawe horse the other day, pulled very hard and huge drift suggested wasn't fancied, probably just a mediocre 60 rated horse. |

She will be over the moon, with Nellie French being her mums horse and Rockley Point is an old stable favourite. Nellie is in the hunt for some of the arc bonus money, in sure she was in the top 20 before that win. I would imagine she will go all out to get some of that pit.
The fanshawe horse on paper it looked a poor run. I see it got a nark of 69. It doesn't have any entries, not sure if they will wait for the turf or have a go back on the all weather. I probably will give it a couple of runs in handicaps before it cone out the tracker, or wins lol. |
