I don't think I've seen a walkover since the 80s

Thing is there were almost more runners in the 80's and 90's when they raced on firm and hard round the likes of Devon and Exeter, Taunton and Newton Abbott

Henderson got a walkover with Pentland Hills not so long ago!

I can recall a chaser in the 60s setting up a sequence of 4 or 5 wins on firm ground but I doubt that any of those races would be run nowadays.

Unbelievably the sporting life have the result as an 11/4 winner,that would be nice if you checked the results page and saw you had the first 3 winners in a Yankee and went and payed the last one.

Could be anything onlooker they just pull figures up from anywhere you of course will remember when they use to put bets in after the result was known.

Twoboyz, not sure there'll be many runners come race time at Exeter this Friday. A real shame with the card including the Devon National.
