Arthur's Quay for a horse that has won three on the bounce, has taken a walk in market? I can see Fusain making it and staying out in front (now back in distance).

Why do jocks on favs in 2 horse races think its compulsory to sit in behind and let the other horse dictate ?

It's Newcastle. Both codes the place is rancid. Ps well done to Fitzy for saying he thought the 6/5 second fav in a two horse race had a chance. Followed by the usual back slapping from the dumb blonde.

Its a good question alright. I suspect the race was lost as soon as Jack Hogan decided to sit behind given Fusain was jumping so well to keep himself ahead. Still the betting made the race a bit more interesting and a clear pointer to the likely outcome.

When Fusain joined HdB he was very highly regarded but obviously had his issues.was entitled t win that race.

arthurs went up 20lb in a short space of time..winner running ok off 115 OR..11lb between them today..2nd was entitled to win or go close.
