She would have stayed on had there been any chance of independence. She chose that route instead of looking after what really maters in Scotland. Teaching, NHS and care homes for starters.

Looks like she got sick of the cowardice. Looks like that Braveheart guy was as real as the tooth fairy.

The gender Bill she pushed through was the last straw, how can she justify putting a convicted rapist into a woman's prison.
She always made that massive assumption that all snp voters wanted independence.

She joins Herr Juncker as the politicians I least liked in the last 10 years. Not about policies but arrogance and the "I know best" attitudes they both had. They both loathed the Westminster Parliament and all it stood for. And when in power, both attracted far more media attention than they deserved.

But we didn't have to put with Ardern on the news twice a week as we had to with Juncker and Sturgeon.

Don’t forget what the SNP did for the Scottish tax payer

Prescription

Council tax frozen for three years

Free meals for kids who don’t have much in life

Bridge tolls

Bus pass…..etc….the list goes on

And don’t come back any southern based…..Scottish workers also pay tax …goes to Westminster and is dished out accordingly….

Maybe she should have done a crocodile Dundee just to check for herself if she thought the bulge was a sock on the trans….( my only complaint regarding)….

She raised taxes on working people that earned above average wages. at £50k to pay around £1500 more than those in England.

ah, but 'ace, isn't that that the 'bait and switch' tactic?

They get you on their side with favourable policies, then the wolf emerges from the sheep's clothing to reveal what they're really about!

Extreme left ideology!

Correct but let's not forget the longer list on what she did wrong and the full push independence stance, through a pandemic and a recession.

SNP have had a pretty much free ride with the opposition they faced, IMHO she did a lot more harm than good, to both her party and the people of Scotland

Labour has as much chance as a snowball in a bonfire

She is still popular up here George….

50k is a nice little earner…. -- its not that great and so what? You should be trying to attract high earners into Scotland. Why would you pay more to live in Scotland than England if you don't have to?
By:

Free ride ….exactly because the voting public were Peed off with the rest….

The working person up here value the SNP obviously….the will continue to be in power for another generation at least..

No, there was no one else to vote for. As I said the SNP party made a huge assumption that everyone wanted independence and they didn't once and wouldn't have again. The last 2 years she has done far more damage to her party than good. She people will still vote SNP and probably more than ever, simply because she is gone.

They get enough to live on but won’t give up the booze and cigs…and everything else….the SNP had to help….at least the kids get a meal thanks to the government….

--- Yes low earners in the central belt who came for the cheaper cost of living. In these times of remote working high earners should be attracted to some of the great places Scotland has to offer. Instead the politics of spite and envy this woman continually perpetrated has put English people of the country.

They didn’t get independence and never will

The Scottish people never forget what the Tory government did in the past

Labour….the working persons government did f all..
