Dreal Deal was supposed to run at Navan last weekend, but apparently knocked itself getting into horsebox.

I notice he frequently has to explain himself to stewards after one of his horses has had a race. For example the run of Vee Dancer at Down Royal. The horse was hampered by a faller and kept on in quite a decent race for the grade. You couldn't find a weaker race than the one it won at Catterick. Then he had to explain the run of the horse after it came back from a lengthy lay off and was priced up at 66/1! The horse obviously had an issue that kept him off the track because he won a fair race in tidy fashion for his second win at Catterick. I've never seen any other trainer have to explain all the poor runs of their horses. The guy has been made a scapegoat!

You think he's been made a scapegoat WP, perhaps the stewards have actually been doing their job probably after being asked by the IHRB to keep an eye on the running and riding of his horses whilst they were looking into his activities.

What activities? Getting a horse well handicapped before landing a punt/running up a sequence in poor races? I call this being a talented trainer. Lets hope they apply the rules to EVERY trainer going forward then.

Getting a horse well h'capped is one thing but being complete non triers or schooling in public is another.
Don't disagree with what you say about other trainers, but they won't have the balls to go after the big boys.

Scapegoat poor guy .he's no scapegoat that's for certain. All the skullduggery behind ownership, fake trainers, unfit horses , schooling and inside information.

Now he's forced to sell these horses. These are the types of horses who'd get lost in the big stables or moved on once they've served their purpose. It's testament to his training skills he's managed to keep these horses sweet and winning races. What's wrong with him landing a touch here and there to keep the whole show on the road? He's not even a difficult trainer to get right....wrong trip/big price leave alone, right trip/aom get on! I wish more trainers were as predictable!
