I put a line through all Tom Eaves' rides. He can't seem to get them out of the gate, and I got fed up with tearing up betting slips in the first furlong.

I remember as quite a lot may remember a former Scottish owner talking about a discussion down at the start of a race..

Could have closed racing…in his opinion
