Thought he ran a very decent come back race in the Rowland Merrick at Wetherby, well in touch and travelled well until lack of fitness told from 3 out, still finished ahead of Zanza, not surprising he weakened after 21 months off.
Previous race before lay off when 4th in the RyanAir at Cheltenham, look at the 3 in front of him, Allaho, Fakir Doudairies and Tornado Flyer with Fanion D'estruval in 5th. 3rd in this race, (runs well here) btn 5 lengths by Secret Investor and Clan Des Obeaux, not sure if todays rivals are in that class, Amy Murphys has her flat team in good order, 3 winnners, 3 placed last F/N, think has a chance of getting placed today, never know might just get his head in front.
Most of the others have questions to answer and don't think the ground will inconvenience him.

Not to be but jumped really super, got well supported before race, think they probably went off too quick as winner came from a fair way back, hopefully people will have saved stake trading out.

Very true Acey, but just thought price was much to big, backed into about 20 on here when they went off, traded under 7/1 IR, so although weakened thought was a decent post.

A light of other years unfortunately-but that is what Zanza looked until yesterday. There are a lot of horses who enjoy a break at grass after a successful first season and decide that trying hard is much less fun.
