Difficult horses at the start, a trainer or their assistant decides they're going to go down there and 'help' out.
Now perhaps they think that a 'familiar' face down there with the horse will help, but does it also mean that the starter and his assistant will give the horse more chances?
Army Of India there - one or two of the others were in the stalls for five minutes, and Golden Rainbow ended up having to be withdrawn after playing up.
As it turned out, the trainer's assistant being down at the start with Army Of India, made no difference, the horse refused to go in.

There was a letter in the RP today about off times being well after the advertised time. While Army of India was refusing to go in, no effort was being made to get the others in -only Golden Rainbow and maybe a couple of others were in . If I'd been the owner of Golden Rainbow. I'd be furious/ What was the starter doing while this was going on?
