What has happened to all the freak results the Tote used to throw out ( especially on outsiders ) ??

Nowadays the Tote win seems to be an Uncannily carbon copy of SP ? Its almost as if it is being Manipulated. ?

Are you now seeding the pools at the all weather tracks as well as the 250000k guarantee on the placepot?
Looks like 25000 was up at lingfield and Wolverhampton also looks like a 25000k guarantee.

You do realise at the tote you are now putting people off the placepot bet? lingfield has just 48000k in the pool to show how much you are putting people off the bet. I myself am lowering my stake into the pool as recently you’ve taken away the 10% bonus with betting with the tote on placepot as adding to the fact you are seeding, doing your nuts and putting people of the bet totally with the take out.

So basically to summarise, you the Tote reduced the payout by a further 5% in the pool for a placepot on you own run bonus, basically because you want a bigger take out from the pool and taking into account your not paying the 28% take out on your bets seeded into the pool, it leaves a punter say on the pool at Newbury today which 268000k with hardly any gain. He (the punter) probable paying in the region 40-50 percent from winnings from the seeding of the pool and playing against pro punters who can use efficient markets to play late into the pool. A complete rip off and you need to be stopped by the gambling commission.

The interview with Harry Findlay was repulsive on luck on Sunday by the way, the worst nick luck interview I can ever remember and has given in his whole career imo,,

the tote has jumped in bed with pro punters and is ripping the heart out of any bets they are running. On glasgows point above the tote are now running an sp return the same on any race, which means you are also seeding the win pools.

A desperate state of affairs and defeating everything good the tote has tried to ever achieve, also contributing feck all to the levy at the same time.

Findlay’s sales pitch was dreadful and full of lies, he himself owes fortunes to other punters and is now looking a washed up punter who’ll do anything for a couple of quid.

The pool is worth 268000 so I want to know after the take out the actual take out on winnings when considering the tote aren’t paying the 28%. I can’t quite figure it out but if a kind mathematician could help me I’d like to know the take out they are taking from the average punter

If the Tote are only seeding these small pots to " create interest " am I right in assuming the pots at Cheltenham that already create huge interest will be left uncontaminated . ??

I have hugely cut back on placepots, I will continue to play at the bigger meetings and when I go on course despite being refused to deposit direct, but now knowing the dynamics behind the product, it really does leave a very bitter taste in my mouth.

As regards to the A.C. checks, on his Twitter profile Harry Findlay declared he's a "jackpot addict." Mine simply says, "horse & Greyhound fan."

He can deposit whatever he likes, me absolutely nowt.

Exactly Slippy, you are not missing anything anyway, apart from them having your details, it would seem the now defunct extra 10% bonus on p/p winnings was just a cynical loss leader to get folk to open accounts.!

So the question I really wanted answering westberks or anyone else that can do the maths.

The placepot Saturday was worth £268,000

Ok so the tote punters pay 28% to the pool money that is taken before the first race to give the people size of 268k. However the tote aren't paying 28% on their money(250k) yet take from the winning return dividend on the day thus surely taking more from the 28% taken already taken at the start of the day, meaning the average Jo punter pays more because the tote aren't paying anything into the pool at the start.

So my question is you cannot tell me considering the pool size Saturday at Newbury and the tote guarantee of 250k that punters only put in 18k plus the 28%

I'm very confused by what is going on or is everybody seeing the light and the tote are playing the bet on their own
