So that's 2-95 and -&87 odd.

I can't be bothered to look it up but I remember Mattie Bachelor having a pretty awful strike-rate for Jim Best.
Anyone would think Best didn't want the Bachelor-ridden ones to win... |

Now that Grace McEntee has taken herself off to the USA to gain experience (and boy does she need to, the way she always rode too fast from the downhill into the final bend at Lingfield, to lose all momentum, when the likes of Adam Kirby know how to slingshot off the bend and gain speed), her supporter Lee Power has had to find a replacement ... so looks like George Wood has now got the gig.
The 10 draw and GW certainly put me off. Looks like Lee landed a nice overnight double with Inaam winning the day before, after the aborted attempt because of fog before. Jim Crowley was an eye-catching booking for Jim & Suzi Best on Early Morning Dew and tried his best up the inside ... think they will team up again throughout the season and use reliable Nick Schofield over the jumps when the money is down.    |
