As I said twice already on threads yesterday and today this would've been the quickest groundvthese horses have run on this season. It was always highly unlikely these horses would run to the exact form today as they have been. This horse may win again of course but to think it would have won today but for interference is fanciful at best imop.

Nobody has suggested he was going to win, but it would be just as fanciful to suggest he wouldn't have won.

He looked to be travelling very well, irrespective of the ground, and just ended up with nowhere to go.

He is not a very good example to use the ground analogy against because he has got form on quicker ground. He certainly wasn't beaten by the ground. The market wasn't bothered by the ground either 4/1-7/4.

Yeah but you don't think others in the race would be suited by better ground? LTO the horses were walking coming into the straight because of the heavy going. This race plenty were finishing strongly. If you look at the Danny Mullins ride and the way he finished after being stick behind horses I would argue that he was more unlucky than the fav was.
