If you owned one of the lesser lights among Willie's 6 shots at a Group 1, wouldn't you rather see the horse in a race it could win? Like a Grade 2 novice in England for example. As usual, Elliott is more pragmatic and sent one to Sandown and hey presto, Gerri Colombe is now favourite for Cheltenham and they won £45k.
