Was there today. Ballymoy won best turned out and looked well -but found nothing in the back straight.

Not sure how good the form is but the winner was really pulling for 2.5 miles and is at least a stone better than any of those. If it runs in the Hunters at Cheltenham, it is surely a back to lay as it travels so well.

I give my opinions on hunters .. no one has to take any notice, its juts an opinion...but trying to discuss something with someone that has no clue and has a go on most of the posts is ridiculous....just to clarify, the top rated horse (by 10lb) didn't win the hunter as you claimed..you really have made yourself look foolish on .

Pointless argument but I prefer to take the form of that race ahead of historic ratings. Some older chasers are completely transformed by a season away from a big yard and a couple of Point to Point wins while others are bought as schoolmasters for inexperienced riders so historic ratings are of limited help. Not That Fuisse looked keen, enthusiastic and stayed 3 miles well. the number of good hunter chasers around are only a fraction of what were there 5 years ago.
