Didn't/Doesn't matter ... unless your are solely a slave to 'in-running' betting only.
You must not remember the halcyon days of a Saturday afternoon in the Bookies - starting off with - 3 races at 2:00 followed by 2 races at 2:15 - Then - 3 races at 2:30 followed by 2 races at 2:45 - and so.  The Betting Shops used to dread the popular - 'First 3 races FAVS across the card' bet. - as they were usually 3 Two-year-olds races - or 3 Novice Hurdles, in Winter. |
