Even if they show the head on from top of the home straight dumb Alex won't spot anything,  but will say something like the horse was green. I know they're all bad for it on that channel but I've never ever heard her criticise a ride.

Fitzgerald interviews trainer with a “ Great run that “ , when he should have been asking why his jockey caused a pile up at the second last  putting other jockeys in danger, but he didn't mention it.

Bet he doesn't care. That's the thing. He could of got someone killed but he's won a listed race for a group who no doubt will give him a good 'drink'.

Pair in the studio and Fitz saw nothing.  Stewards saw something worthy of a 6 day ban.

take viewers for absolute mugs, tell you what they want to tell you.

Sad thing is the bimbo is on more and more these days. People actually think she knows her stuff. Embarrassing to have on TV, along with her usual giggling.

Not that long ago Brennan told Chapman he was finished with social media as it was wrecking his head and he was a better person etc for it. That didn't last long did it? He's on his twitter page advertising a bookie.

definitely a no-holds barred ride and the extremely annoying part is this story will get a miniscule amount of media attention in comparison to a top jockey going over the whip limit, not that I'm condoning that, BUT if the BHA were really seriously interested in jockey/animal welfare, rides like this would be automatic 30 days... that the gravy train folks on the covering channel had little to no comment is another serious inditement of the racing media, it's no wonder that we're faced with several potentially existential challenges to the sport-industry when the organisations in charge AND the people who are supposed to hold them to rights are both full of totally incompetent personnel

Finally we get the report.....

An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the second last flight of hurdles involving the winner, GREYVAL (FR) ridden by Paddy Brennan, LIBBY (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by J.J. Slevin and KOMEDY KICKS (IRE), which fell, ridden by Sean O'Keeffe. Brennan was suspended for 6 days for improper riding as having jumped the third last flight behind KOMEDY KICKS (IRE) he then improved his mount up the inner on an unrailed part of the course and thereafter Brennan manoeuvred right-handed to get back into the racing line, when it ought to have been obvious that by carrying out this manoeuvre interference would occur, bumping and unbalancing KOMEDY KICKS (IRE) who was taken off his intended line. As a consequence, LIBBY (IRE) was also carried off his intended line on the run to the second last hurdle.

Missed out on the first part of the report..........

Race 4 - 2:40pm
THE SKY BET FILLIES' JUVENILE HURDLE RACE (CLASS 1) (Listed Race) (GBB RACE)

Shortly after entering the home straight, GREYVAL (FR) become momentarily short for room between ARCLIGHT, placed second and REGALLY BLONDE, placed sixth, and switched left-handed carrying INSPIRATRICE (IRE), which later unseated its rider, slightly off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of GREYVAL (FR).

An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the second last flight of hurdles involving the winner, GREYVAL (FR) ridden by Paddy Brennan, LIBBY (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by J.J. Slevin and KOMEDY KICKS (IRE), which fell, ridden by Sean O'Keeffe. if you watch his ride on Hidden Beauty at Doncaster on 10th January, he rode to a similar line for the whole race. Nobody in his way then of course.

He rides a lot of races the same. He purposely runs horses into/towards other horses.

that may be so MJK, but I was referring to his plan to , effectively, ride on the steeplechase course in search for what he perceives to be better ground. The Hidden Beauty ride was extraordinary at times.

Yes it won him the race ,one can only presume that he thought he had the pace to get in front today , doing it , whereas he wasnt even close .

Obviously Brennan done wrong but it does surprises me that no one on here actually noticed why he switched to the inner. De bonville cut him up taking his ground. Obviously he did wrong from his manoeuvre 2 out but check de bonville going towards 3 out forcing Brennan to switch.

Just an observation, nothing said on here though

The thing is he's incapable of keeping a horse straight at the best of times, and couldn't even switch his whip there. Another one for the 'sooner he retires the better for racing' list.
